The source of the river Guden:
In the heart of Jutland, surrounded by Tørring, Give, and Nørre Snede, you can sense history’s passing as Nature shows off its great diversity. Right here, you will find the source of the river of Guden as well as the source of the river of Skjern, just a few hundred metres apart. Nearby you will find the thousands of years old Hærvej, where you can experience ancient tombs and other relics from the past. Close to the river of Guden’s source you will find Tinnet krat, which is Denmarks largest oak bush, as well as the beautiful Rørbæk Lake. www.naturstyrelsen.dk/Udgivelser/Vandretursfoldere/atilaa/Gudenaa.htm
Uldum Kær: Uldum Kær is a large nature recovery project funded by the Danish Ministery of the Environment, local landowners, and Hedensted Municipality. Here you will find small bridges, walking- and biking paths, towers for bird watching, tables and benches, parking spots as well as an area for canoes. The paths are marked and there are information boards in the area. http://www.naturstyrelsen.dk/NR/rdonlyres/C9E8C176-F23A-41AD-A7AC-AC9787E3121B/108259/Folder.pdf
